Privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
This policy covers Vyntez VPN: the apps, the browser extension, the VPN servers and this website (vpn.vyntez.com). Vyntez VPN is run by Vyntez Solutions ("we", "us"). Questions: info@vyntez.com.
What we store
This is everything the Vyntez VPN service stores about you and your devices:
- Your account: email address, name and password (stored only as a bcrypt hash).
- Your plan and subscription.
- Your devices: the name you give each one, its platform, and its WireGuard public key.
- Which VPN server a device has a peer on, and the tunnel IP address it was given there.
- The last handshake time of each peer.
- One running total of bytes you used this month (for the Free plan data cap).
What we don't store
- Browsing history.
- DNS queries. Our DNS resolver (unbound) runs with query logging turned off.
- The source IP addresses of your connections.
- Connection timestamps, other than the "last handshake" time above.
- Per-session logs.
The same two lists are on our no-logs page.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account, and to send you sign-up and password-reset codes by email.
- To set up WireGuard peers on our servers for your devices, and to issue proxy logins to the browser extension.
- To apply your plan: the number of devices, which locations you can use, and the Free plan's monthly data cap.
- To take payment for Plus and to keep your subscription status up to date.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Private keys
Your WireGuard private keys are made on your device (or, for computers, in your browser) and are never sent to us. We only receive public keys.
Payments
Plus subscriptions are paid through Razorpay. You enter your payment details in Razorpay's checkout window, not on our servers, and we don't receive your full card number. We receive the subscription status and IDs needed to confirm payment. Razorpay handles payment data under its own privacy policy.
This website
- Sign-in cookie: when you sign in on this website, we set one httpOnly cookie (
vv_rt) that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is not used for tracking. - Your browser's storage: this site remembers your name, email and plan, and your light/dark choice, in your browser's local storage so the dashboard opens quickly. Signing out clears your details.
- Visit counter: the Vyntez visit counter records the page path and the referring page. It sets no cookies and stores no IP address.
How long we keep it
- Your account, devices and plan: until you delete your account.
- Server peers that have been idle for 30 days are removed from our servers.
- The byte total covers the current month only, for the data cap.
Deleting your account
In your dashboard, go to Settings → Delete account and confirm with your password. This deletes your devices, removes their peers from every server, deletes your account and cancels any subscription.
Your rights
You can see and correct your name in the dashboard, and delete your account at any time. For any other request about your data, email info@vyntez.com.
Changes
If we change what we store, we will update this page and the no-logs page together, and change the date at the top.
